Go Girls! Girls Club

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Prince George is excited to announce a new pilot program called Go Girls! Girls Club. This is a 14 week program for girls aged 11-13 that operates out of our new Rotary Sponsored Clubhouse space. This program focuses on enhancing a child’s self-esteem, competence and self-confidence through hands on experiences about active living, healthy eating and through creating a positive group atmosphere with other girls and the mentors. This program is offered free of charge for families and limited to 12 seats per session. The sessions will be running Thursdays 6:30-8:30pm from September 11th- December 11th. Team Up-Sports Based Mentoring

Team Up! is a sports based mentoring program for boys aged 11-13. This program will run out of the new Rotary Clubhouse including field trips around the community. This program focuses on physical activity, healthy eating, nutrition, self-esteem, leadership and communication skills. 12 seats are available and there is no cost for participation. Program runs Wednesdays from 6:30pm - 8:30pm starting October 15th through December 3rd. After School Care

In the 2014-2015 School year we will be offering our after school care programs both at the BBBS Child Care Centre located at 4110 15th Ave and in the Rotary Clubhouse located at 777 Kinsmen Place. Depending on your schedule we also offer different availabilities such as before school care, and part time care (3 days per week). Be the Start of Something Big

Tim Horton's and the Prince George Cougars are teaming up to ensure that every child has a shot to reach their full potential.

We offer a wide range of mentoring opportunities to meet the varied needs of volunteers, children and families.

Each time we pair a child with a mentor or introduce a group of students to a group program, we start something. Click here to learn about how you can get involved and be the start of something big.
